2. Can I raft the Tuckaseegee?

Sure you can!! All Rivers are rated with a rapid score ranging from class I (1) to class IV (5). The Tuckaseegee has class I & II rapids, sometimes III on high water days. This rating means that we are a perfect choice to first time and beginner rafters. Our river offers a combination of rapids with calm areas to swim and enjoy the scenery. Our river is a great choice for extended families with young children as young as 4 years old, parents, and grandparents.

3. How do I pick the best trip for us?

The only question to ask yourself is…. How much experience do I have on the water?

  • No experience – Give us a call to schedule a guided trip… Owner, Tee Davis, can help you decide on the best options for your group, family or friend outing.
  • Some experience – Based on the experience of the group… You may decide to take a self guided raft or split up into double and single duckies. It’s a matter of how you want to spend the day. Teenagers love singles.
  • I’m a old pro – Go for the single and double inflatable duckies. We have double ducks that can accommodate two parents and a small children
